To everyone at Flagship Builders,

     We wanted to say a few words about our experience building our new home. We had seen a home that was built by Flagship and our first thought was “We can not afford to have Flagship build our home”. The quality goes without saying, but the details are where it counts. We were already talking to a builder and were met with much resistance with our ideas for our new “custom” home. Had it not been for the difficulty we had we may have never called Doug. That was the best phone call we could have ever made. The truth is we could not afford NOT to have Flagship build our home.
     Doug and Johnny made this experience personal and fun. They always treated us like customers but we always felt like friends. No stone went unturned and no decisions were ever a thought without our input. The knowledge and experience they brought to us was second to none. We were always open to hear their suggestions because we never knew what great ideas they would have. Sometimes the smallest detail made the biggest difference and they gave attention to every detail. They always kept our budget in perspective and were very respectful of making suggestions that might compromise that number. The house we have is much more than we expected it would be.
     Everyone we met on the job was pleasant and generous with their time. The sub contractors working on our home were of the highest quality, something we had come to expect with Doug and Johnny. This experience was extremely pleasant for us. I think the most stressful thing we dealt with was picking out granite and that was only because there was so much to choose from!
     We would, without hesitation, recommend Flagship Builders to anyone contemplating building a new home. We are extremely happy with the end result and have enjoyed the entire experience. Thank you Doug, Johnny and everyone involved in making our house a home.

We couldn’t be more pleased that we selected Flagship to build our dream home. The house won best feature and second overall in the 2008 Regatta – that speaks well to the finished product.

As to working with Flagship - they were on time, on budget, with superb craftsmanship. It’s great to work with people who really care about their quality and their customer. Doug, John and Kim were great to work with, as were their subs. We built the home “long distance” from Ohio, coming down every few weeks – with no problems. We were kept fully informed and up-to-date throughout. The in-the-field revisions we asked for were accommodated without fuss and those proposed by Doug and John made the house even better. Building with Flagship was a great experience – we love our home.

Thank you for everything! This being the fifth house I have built, I was wary of the typical problems I have encountered while working with contractors in the past - from not returning calls to cutting corners in the construction process. Little did I know, that I had no reason at all to worry. My calls were always returned, my concerns were always addressed, and the entire process was honest and transparent. Nothing was ever an imposition. You realized I was building my dream home and wanted it to be my perfect house, which was not always the most convenient way. You were always realistic on how the house was progressing, continuously making sure the quality was present, and to my level of satisfaction. The best part of the process was that it was stress-free and I have come out of it with good friends. Flagship builders made my dream house into a home. Thanks again!
